happy new years to all!
as things go, most know that my sister's husband [brother in law - bil, who tends to go by hanlin] is currently overseas serving for this wonderful country. i have spent the last few days visiting my sister in fayettenam experiencing the joys that this city has to offer.
the day i came up was the night rory left and april and i just hung out and chatted as the next day i had to leaave for chicago. it was a blast up in the windy city and i was glad to get back at 3 a.m. friday morning after various delays leaving chicago... gotta love o'hare yet again. this, however was ok, since april worked all day friday and had a frg meeting in the evening, which was some good support for her...
anywho, yesterday april and i went to the best rastaurant in fayetteville [at least according to our silly opinions]: Louigi's. it was a fantastic feast that began with Roman greeting us at the door. he recognized us from times of 'port-guzzling' past and seemed pleased to serve us that which is the goodness of chease snuggled into a warm blanket of pasta... ah yes, pasta purses. of course, this time april was disallowed to indulge in the alcoholic beverages. after louigi's, april and i proceeded to spend an hour at yohann phabriko's [joann fabrics] where we purchased an amusing array of fabrics [yes rory... if you are reading this things were purchased for home decor... a way for april to start another project she hasn't finished and a way to spend a little more money in the process]. after a nastalgic fraggle-rock tassle experience we finally left that haven and proceeded to lowe's for some home-improvement items including paint and such. this was just a side stop on the way to walleyworld [wall mart to some] where, due to the hustle and bustle of cars throughout the mega-lot of parking, i decided to pull my car into a cart-park. one would think that those little oasis' where carts are stored in the parking lot would not accomidate such a ginormous vehicle such as my driver [vw golf]. however, those doubters would be fully disproved. i wish i had my camera with me becasue it was quite a site to see. the fascinating part is that when we came out of walton's palace the carts that were trapped inside the cart-park were no more... that's right, then darn thing was empty. there was a security truck driving around in that area with his lights flashing and april and i kept walking to a car further on down the lot, acting like that was not our car. as the truck had to go down the lane to the end, we then, in quick cat-like fashion, loaded the car, pulled out and took off. mystified were we as to the whereabouts of those carts or how they came to be elswhere than in the cart-park, but alas, such was the case. we had a good laugh about it and just went home for some dessert and some snl, which we quickly fell asleep to on the couches. ahhh, good times.
well, i am off to go and hang out with her before heading back to cola. coffee is good, creamer is better and cheesy eggs with ham is the freakin best. so, i believe april has a dream home from hgtv to show me which initially looks promising [yeah... i wish]. anywho, good to type again, hopefully i will get back in the groove.
ta-ta for now

Yeah for parking in the cart return area! I will never forget coming out of walmart to see the parking lot half empty and your car, by itself, in the cart park. Simply hilarious.
Spending money! She seems to do that alot when you are around!
Hey, as long as she is happy!
What!?!?!? Me, spend money? Never.
Oh, and by the way Garry, you need to update this. I'm tired of reading the same thing over and over. Although I do giggle every time I think about the cart return with your car in it.
That Fatty Mcfatterson is one hot chica, she should be allowed to spend all the money she wants, especially on shoes.
Ok so I finally decided to figure out how to leave you a comment. I am not accustom to the ways of today's youth so it took me a while. Your blog is very interesting to read but I agree with April, I am also getting a little bored with this last entry. I know you have had so much free time lately so you could have already updated your blog. HAHA! I demand a lot of attention but I will spare you a few minutes to write something interesting, your fans are waiting! Lots of love! E
